Mechanical Design Engineer in Hampshire

Advanced Resource Managers are currently working with an Engineering company, who specialise within the nuclear industry, to seek Mechanical Design Engineer to provide designs for engineering projects. |
About You:
- You will have a mechanical engineering qualification - You will have experience using Solid works or similar You will have knowledge of the engineering delivery process and project management. |
What you will be doing:
- To produce engineering concepts and technical solutions compliant with company and international standards, with minimal supervision, but with regular consultation with the Project Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or other team members. - To develop the design of mechanical equipment to a level sufficient for manufacture and functionality - To provide the technical production and checking of design and design support documents and ensure they are completed within the required timescales. - To carryout, in addition to design, all aspects of the design process such as draughting, testing of products, as well as other organisational tasks as deemed appropriate to ensure timely progress of projects being worked on. - To provide technical liaison with Clients and Suppliers. - To assist in general clerical and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the Engineering Department. |
This role is a permanent position based within Hampshire; you will be required to be on site every day. This company currently offers flexible working hours, providing employees more accommodating hours. |
The salary is £33,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, with this role you will also have the following benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, flexible working, cycle to work scheme, life assurance, pension and private health care. |
