What will I be doing?
The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for the process of creating & maintaining the Master Plans in the ERP system.
This includes establishing a plan which satisfies the Customer requirements, meets the Inventory targets and is supported by a commitment from Production and a Load & Capacity validation.
Responsibilities will include:
-To establish the Master Production Schedule in the ERP system, meeting both:
- The Customer requirements
- The split between the various configurations expected by the Customers (if applicable)
- The target stock level as per the Company policy
-To ensure the plans are adhering to the various planning parameters as and when required: Safety Time, Safety Stock, Quotas & workshare, etc…
- To lead the MPS monthly meetings with all required parties, in order to collectively agree & commit on a master plan on a 2 years horizon.
- To lead the MPS weekly meetings with all required parties, in order to collectively agree & commit on a master plan on a 52 weeks horizon.
- To assess the feasibility of the master schedules that are being proposed in terms of capacity requirements.
- To monitor the adherence to the weekly plan, running the root cause analysis in case of deviation to the plan and establishing an action plan to avoid any reoccurrence.
- To monitor the consistency of the Master Production Schedules with the Production Plan (assembly & machining levels).
- To maintain the MPS related KPIs for the site.
- To attend and support the Sales & Operations Planning processes: Demand Reviews, Production Plan reviews, Internal Supply reviews, Load & Capacity reviews, etc…
- To continuously contribute to improving the Planning processes.
- To contribute to the definition of the Global Data processes
