Management Accountant in Ware, Hertfordshire

Management Accountant - Ware Permanent - £35,000 - £40,000

ARM are delighted to be working with a one of our communications specialists in bespoke managed business solutions focused on delivering exceptional client support services.

We are looking for a Management Accountant to take charge of ensuring the timely and accurate production of management accounts each month.

Responsibilities:

* Timely preparation of the monthly management accounts
* Maintaining the company's deferred monthly recurring revenue schedules and processing the amortisation of revenue to the P&L.
* Maintaining other deferred revenue and accrued revenue schedules.
* Maintaining cloud clients margin worksheets on a real time basis.
* Reviewing the monthly payroll and preparing the month-on-month walk through reconciliation each month end.
* Request and review detailed aged inventory records to the GL stock account monthly.
* Maintain and reconcile balances of stock on a monthly basis.
* Processing of payroll journal and timely accurate submissions and payments HMRC.
* Reconciliation of all other balance sheet accounts including but not limited to accrual prepayments accrued revenue and deferred revenue.
* Assisting in the year end audit

Requirements:

* Qualified CCAB accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Previous experience of a using operating systems such as Dynamics AX
* Working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite
* Demonstrable experience working with financial and operational information systems and controls in a large business that provides consistent and reliable information
* Excellent organisational skills who is Results/ task orientated, with attention to detail and accuracy
