Scope of Service
The Integration Engineer & Drive Rep will be responsible for supporting the testing and drive event requirements of Whole Vehicle Acoustics and integrating vehicle updates for testing, managing the updates to key drive event vehicles and supporting drive events. Working with and reporting to the Functional Manager - Acoustics

Key Deliverables
* Vehicle delivery and planning
o Responsible for the receipt of vehicles from Fleet to Whole vehicle Acoustics - checking required specification is delivered 'fit for purpose' to support acoustic testing, faults are resolved before handover by Fleet team, involved in vehicle sign off event and manage vehicle hand over to/from EGA
o Attend Fleet Vehicle Usage Plan (VUP) meeting on behalf of EGA to co-ordinate EGA VUP requirements for all programmes with Fleet and resolve any timing and/or specification issues
o Manage the vehicle utilisation, delivery, faults etc to support vehicle utilisation KPI
* Vehicle update management
o Define with Technical Managers & Engineers specification of test car required e.g. exhaust part level, chassis parts, calibration etc
o Responsible for management of parts, software updates, work requests etc to support the upgrade of vehicles to the correct specification to support Whole Vehicle - Acoustics test and development activities
o Understand specification of tests cars e.g. diagnostic logs, part level checks etc for phase of build
o Co-ordinate vehicle diagnostic checks, software calibration updates with relevant Engineering function
o Organise, plan and manage vehicle updates with Engineering workshop (e.g. work request, parts, vehicle etc ) for the respective activity.
o Accountable for planning and on site monitoring and management of vehicle updates and delivery to required timing
o Co-ordination of valeting of vehicles to required standard for drives and handover
o Support transfer of parts to/from & Monitor EGA logistics at EL1. E.g. tyres, hardware, vehicles etc.
o Coordinating the customs process & documentation and transport requests for vehicles shipment to overseas test locations or suppliers to required timing - including the loading and receipt of cars, pre/post damage inspection etc
o Working with key service providers and suppliers for outsourced activities to understand and resolve vehicle operational related issues
* EGA Drive Rep
o Responsible for the representation of Whole Vehicle Acoustics at all project drive events on all programs, which will include:
o Co-ordination and management of Whole Vehicle and specific Acoustic led Drive Event vehicles updates to the required specification by liaison with Whole Vehicle Acoustics Technical Managers and Engineers to define the component and system specifications required and co-ordination of the updates with the relevant Design Functions and Drive Events departments
o Liaison with the Drive Team during overall event planning to agree additional support requirements
o Securing and facilitating pre-event vehicle usage where required to characterize attribute performance status and concern investigations post events.
o Supporting all Bentley and Group drive events as the technical contact for Whole Vehicle Acoustics - Provide feedback during the drive event to facilitate & resolve specific day to day event car concerns and to ensure concise, accurate summary of each concern
o Responsible for compiling the Whole Vehicle Acoustics input to the Drive Event brochure
o Facilitate Whole Vehicle Acoustics meeting to roll out drive event concerns into technical areas; raise KPMs and agree ownership and responsibilities for concern investigation.
o Maintain the master concerns list in preparation for reporting at future drive events and drive event follow up meetings with relevant Technical Manager & Engineer

Practical & Technical Knowledge
* Acoustic/NVH attribute development knowledge in key attribute area (e.g. Aero-Acoustics, Road Noise, Powered Ancillaries, Ride Comfort, Powertrain, Sound Quality, Squeak & Rattle) with experience in supporting physical development testing
* Experience in acoustic data acquisition equipment, software would also be an advantage
Skills/Experience
* A self-starter with a customer-focused mind-set,
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage multiple task and deliver within project constraints
* Collaborative approach integrating with Whole Vehicle - Acoustics Head of Department, Functional Manager, Technical Manager and Engineers
* Proactive ability to collaborate and influence to deliver requirements with stakeholders across the business

Qualifications
* A degree in acoustics, automotive or mechanical engineering and/or equivalent experience
