Role Overview
An exciting opportunity for anyone who has wanted to join HR is available within the HR team in
Filton, working with an experienced team of HRBP's this role provides a perfect entry level
opportunity and will support your growth and development as an HR practitioner.
The Human Resources Advisor will primarily provide support to the HR Business Partner team
with recruitment and on boarding activities, acting as a primary interface for external and
internal candidates, and other key stakeholders involved in recruitment and on boarding. You
will also ensure that HR policies are applied and that HR processes are implemented effectively
and consistently in the business area in line with local legislation and global HR strategy.
HR Advisor Responsibilities
- Supporting the recruitment and on boarding of new hires, being a primary interface for new hires being able to respond to hiring related queries as well as with key stakeholders involved in the hiring process
- Update HR tools related to all the actions of the employee life cycle; from hire to retire; and be the interface with HR Analysts
- The potential to support the HRBP team with preparation of reports for respective reviews on topics such as absenteeism, headcount, bonus & salary reviews This role will be the perfect opportunity for you to grow as an HR professional and to be completely embedded into the change that we would like to give to our HR community.
Skill Set HR Advisor Essential
- Strong IT/Data analytic skills. We want to take our reporting methods to the next level, to drive evidence-based actions
- Previous experience in HR and an understanding of HR policies, processes & systems
- Experience in Recruitment and on boarding
- Autonomy & adaptability
- Pro-active mind-set and ability to anticipate, address business issues and offer solutions to managers
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, teamwork and networking abilities
- Customer orientation & responsiveness, with a solution mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-awareness & empathy
HR Advisor Desirable
- Working knowledge of Workday
- CIPD Level 5
