Hardware Engineer in Essex

ARM are currently recruiting for a key Defence client based in Essex that has a new contract requirement for a Hardware Engineer to join the team based in Essex. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on cutting edge technology being used within the defence industry.

Joining the product development team the successful candidate will be working on: requirement capture, prototyping/risk reduction experiments, schematic capture and PCB Layout, circuit simulation, driving the design review process and collaborating with other engineering functions and manufacturing.

Key Skills:
- Strong analogue & mixed-signal circuit design experience
- Strong digital circuity design including the design of boards using complex FPGAs
- Extensive experience of PCB development tools and process
- Experience of DFx
- Experience in System level and sub-system integration and debug.
- Electro-Optics experience beneficial
- Knowledge of Linear and Switching Power Supply Design and EMC Filter Design would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink would be beneficial.

Due to the nature of the sector, you will need to be eligible for UK security Clearance.
