Food Safety Officer in Ealing, London

£30 - £45 per hourContract
ContractOur client is currently looking to recruit a Food Safety Officer to carry out inspections in the Ealing area.
Duties:
- Carry out inspections on food businesses/stores.
- Ability to negotiate in a broad range of often complex and difficult scenarios whilst organising / prioritising work to meet deadlines.
- Details of all visits and actions taken will need to be accurately recorded in accordance with service policy and procedures by manual or electronic means.
- Work flexibly within the City, using their initiative / working jointly with both internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
- You must meet the requirements of the Food Standards Agency's Code of Practice to undertake food hygiene enforcement.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Recent Local Government experience inspecting food business
- Strong working knowledge of FHRS Brand Standards;
- Accurate, clear, and concise report writing in line with FHRS brand Standard
