£23,000 per annum

ARM are actively seeking a Finance Clerk to work for our client based in Trowbridge on a Fixed Term Contract.

The role of the Finance Clerk will be to cover tasks for purchase and sales ledger, cash and rent accounting, assist with payroll checking and general office tasks.

Responsibilities:
* Receive and process invoices inputting into our purchase ordering system.
* Receive requests for payments and check that all relevant information and authority is present.
* Responsible for the sales systems relating to all invoicing raised, including preparation and input of journals and investigating and resolving any queries/miscoding.
* Assist with the checking of payroll trials with the HR team including all changes, amendments and additions.
* Reconcile all payroll information, prepare and input all appropriate journals into the finance system and reconcile payroll control accounts monthly.
* Assist with duties, as required, related to any functions within the finance department.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 GCSE or 'O' level to include English and Maths, or equivalent.
* Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
* Ability to act tactfully, with discretion and confidentiality.
* Good organisational and administration skills.
