Finance Business Partner in Birmingham, West Midlands

Finance Business Partner - Birmingham (Hybrid) - 6 Month Contract- £500-£550 p/d (Umbrella) Inside IR35

ARM are working with a major transport and infrastructure client based in Birmingham to recruit for a Finance Business Partner on a 6 month contract.

To provide financial support and critical analytical challenge to directorates to ensure the organisation achieves financial targets and delivers value for money within the budgets set by the comprehensive spending review.

Responsibilities:
* Support the team in looking after a portfolio of directorates
* Month End / IFRS Accounting / National Audit Office
* Business Planning/Forecast
* Leads Business Planning and forecasting process
* Providing guidance on planning principles & expectations
* Budget Management
* Provides Workforce Actual costs & forecast information
* Corporate Governance/ Managing Public Money

Requirements:
* Ability to interpret financial information and determine appropriate IFRS
* Ability to use Excel spreadsheets to analyse large and complex data sets
* CCAB qualified accountant
* Knowledge of Oracle accounting systems or other similar ERP systems
* Experience in providing financial information to inform project decisions
* Recognising consequence against cost, schedule and quality.
* Experience in business planning, forecasting experience within a project environment
