EV Test Engineer in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

I am recruiting for an EV Test Engineer to join our Expanding Client in the Automotive Industry!

It's exciting times to join our client as an EV Powertrain Test Engineer, as they are expanding their EV engineering team to support the continued development of EV Propulsion test capabilities in Milton Keynes.

Some key Responsibilities required:

• Interpret customer project requirements and carry outtest and development activities, including reporting, to meet the objectives of the project
• Test method writing, modification and software scripting for performance and durability tests on EV propulsion systems across the assigned rigs
• Complete test instructions, and equipment and customer utilisation KPI's as required
• Installing, calibrating and validating data measurement and acquisition systems
• Debugging and real-time commissioning of complex electronic systems, especially those with high speed data communication interfaces (CAN/FLEXRAY etc)
• Specification, installation, reconfiguration and safety assessment of hazardous DC and AC electrical systems and power electronics
