We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a well known defence & maritime company. You'll be involved in a wide range of estimating activities, helping to support bids in various lines throughout the Maritime Services Department. Giving you a great opportunity to gain exposure to a range of areas and complex activities undertaken within the business.

You'll be responsible for -
Creating and compiling complex cost estimates for bids and projects in line with business and estimating processes
Ensuring delivery of estimates is in accordance with the requirements of the end to end Estimating Process, and the Maritime Services Estimating policy and processes
Populating and maintaining the cost model for the estimate, ensuring the data stays current and in line with the scope of work
Managing change to the estimate and cost model in line with internally or externally driven change to the scope of work
Providing data and information, as required, for internal reviews, meeting and in support to cost investigation and negotiations
Providing guidance and estimating expertise at Bid, Project, Commercial and customer reviews and meetings and support negotiations

Key Skills we are looking for -
Qualified to A Level, ONC/HNC standard or equivalent as a minimum, preferably in Business Studies, Engineering or Mathematics.
Estimating experience & Knowledge of Estimating principles, techniques and practices and different types of cost estimates.
Good mathematical skills
