My client are looking for a Engineering Hardware Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. It is an exciting time to join them as they have activities planned throughout 2023 and beyond.
In this role you will report to the Combat Systems Chief Engineer and be responsible for delivering hardware design, assembly integration and test processes for all the hardware systems delivered by Naval Ships Combat Systems.

You will be responsible for -
Maintaining and deploying the Hardware Engineering Plan and the correct deployment of company processes
Engineering input and sign-off to any make-buy or supplier change decision responsibility
Managing the assembly integration and test facilities and all aspects of SHE in that workplace
Line management responsibility for the Combat Systems Hardware, the Assembly, Integration and Test Manager, and a team of project hardware delivery CAMs

Ideal Skills my client will be looking out for -
Recognition of legislative requirements, particularly concerning safety and the environment
Proven experience with complex engineering IT hardware developments and portfolio management
Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
Chartered Engineer
