PermanentAs an Emissions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles fitted with a range of propulsion systems meet regulatory emissions standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct emissions testing on combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles
Analyse test results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards or customer defined objectives
Identify areas for improvement in vehicle emissions performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for emission-related issues
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to vehicle emissions
Create reports documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations
Participate in the development of new testing methodologies and equipments
Maintain a safe and organised work environment
Experience
Knowledge of combustion, hybrid and electric vehicle systems and components
Familiarity with emission regulations or equivalent standards
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Experience with emissions software and data logging tools such as AVL PUMA, AVL iGem, Concerto & INCA is desirable
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Passion for sustainability and clean transportation
Full UK driving licence & own transport
SC clearance or ability to achieve this (UK national with residency in the UK for the last 5 years)
Desirable
Experience in emissions testing or related field
Education
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
