We are looking for an Early Careers & Skills Development Coach to join our key team. You will be delivering a variety of training solutions, including CAA modules, Type Training and Assessing learners' performance and related knowledge in a range of tasks and to ensure that the learners' competence and knowledge demonstrated meet the requirements of the Apprenticeship Qualification standards.
Day to Day you'll be -
Delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices (including classroom, on aircraft consolidation, practical assignments and testing) that engage and inspire learners to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress within the business.
Managing and operating training devices (including ground training aircraft), ensuring they are fit for the required training exercise.
Promoting the use of continuous improvement techniques to improve the content of the training and maintenance experience gained.
To support, train and guide learners and develop their personal and professional attitudes, skills and abilities with responsibility to ensure successful completion of qualifications.
To guide and support learners to gain the required appropriate evidence for their Competency Based Qualifications (Formerly NVQ) and Apprenticeship Standards
Essential Skills we are looking for -
Aircraft maintenance background
Some leadership and supervision experience
Desirable but not essential Skills & Experience -
Knowledge of apprenticeships, standards, assessment/verification practices and awarding body compliance procedures
CAA Part 66 licence/modules or equivalent
Experience of delivering Mandatory Training such as Human Factors, Safety Management Systems
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or progressing towards)
Hawk experience
Experience of structural repairs, manufacturing and production
