The Head of BD will be an integral part of the Leadership Team, your energy and personal drive will ensure you will be successful holding the responsibility for the management of the new business pipeline, with fantastic opportunities to see the results come to fruition!

What you can expect to deliver:
Develop and deliver new business growth strategy and plan, growing our customer base and accelerating our financial performance;
Develop and deliver the stakeholder management plans, focused on both internal and external interested parties;
Manage allocated new business proposals, and;
Be responsible for the accurate forecasting and delivery of the new business pipeline financial targets.

Ideally you will have experience within the Defence/Aviation/Aerospace sector.
You will already have a breadth of BD experience and a successful track record of winning new business, ideally within the International Defence sector.
You will have excellent relationship management and communication skills with strong business acumen to support your proposals.

You will enjoy working in an environment where alternative tailored solutions are the answer, being able to navigate both yourself and stakeholders to a positive solution. You will value the importance of being able to work successfully in situations that can often be pressured and love the flexibility to be on the road.

Stakeholder engagement and strong influential skills are paramount for this role!

This role will require UK security clearance

Representing the business at trade, Defence, Aviation, Space trade shows. So travel will be expected and the successful candidate will need to be flexible with working patterns, prioritising customer locations and availability.
