Are you an experienced Cyber engineer with experience in Infrastructure or Test?

Do you want to be involved in interesting and challenging projects?

You will be a Cyber Engineer working with a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company where you are given the chance to apply your knowledge and expertise to engineering best practices, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life-cycle.

You will be responsible for performing a range of test or infrastructure engineering tasks across the development life-cycle where you will be providing input into estimating/planning and contribute towards ensuring that project milestones are met.

If you are focused more on the testing aspect, then you will need experience in:

• Testing within our key competencies of Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Intelligence Analytics or Software & Systems Development.
• Testing systems developed utilising a number of the following technologies: RF, Networking, Telecoms, Internet and IP-related technologies, Embedded systems and programming, and Cloud technologies.
• Developing test support tools or automated scripts using modern languages or scripting.
• Working in a test capacity in the areas of Cyber Detection, Forensics, COTS Integration, and Agile Systems Development

If you focused on the infrastructure aspects, then you will need experience in:

• Experience working with computer systems, networking hardware, security appliances, and software.
• Solid understanding and application of systems and integration engineering principles, requirements analysis and decomposition, system architecture, and design.
• Understanding of virtualisation concepts, especially ESXi, vSphere, and associated interfaces/APIs.
• Linux and/or Windows experience and comfort with Bash shell and Powershell.
• Experience/familiarity with deployment tools (mainly Ansible and Terraform).
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket.
• Strong networking skills (TCP/IP) and possibly NSX-T.
• Software development experience or familiarity particularly with Python.
• Strong written and communication skills.
