ContractARMs prestigious client is hiring for a components engineer; working on cutting edge technologies within the automotive sector. Focusing on providing a range of capabilities and features which can take care and enhance customers health and well being whilst riding in the vehicle.
About You:
Are you educated to degree level in engineering, computer science, information technologies or similar subject?
Affinity for technology and innate curiosity about how things work?
Do you have knowledge pf Electrical vehicle functions including electronic hardware, software and systems?
Good problem solving skills?
If yes to the above then you may well be the perfect candidate for this role. You will ideally have a project engineering background, specialising in design and development skills.
What you will be doing:
Develop and maintain a high level of technical skill in electrical and electronic systems. Work alongside peers working in similar areas within the clients brand.
Operate in a systems engineering environment, taking a function oriented approach to development.
Deliver "end-to-end" according to specific project requirements, within the "Product Emergence Process" - timing, cost and quality.
Support and lead design and development activities, end-to-end, including design (e.g. preparing specifications/Bid Specs, inc regulatory requirements, surface design/model implications, mechanical packaging and mounting, circuit diagrams, software etc.), realisation (with partners/suppliers, some of whom need to be identified and nominated), validation/testing (and test planning), release for production, and ongoing support and change management, to end of production.
The role is a hybrid but sometime will be on site in the factory based in Crewe. The role may at times involve some international travel predominantly Germany.
This is a contract position.
What you can expect in return:
£40 PH CONTRACT POSITION - OUTSIDE OF IR35 - 40 HOUR WEEK - ASAP START DATE - CONTRACT TIL 2024 WITH HIGH POTENTIAL TO EXTEND - HYBRID WORKING - SOME INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
