CAD Engineer - Exterior Trim & Closures (Permanent) - Shalford Or Warwick

The Role:

The candidate will design for manufacture and assembly for responsible components. The candidate will prepare project documentation (Models, Drawings, reports, etc). develop work-flows to deliver assignments, whilst reporting to senior engineers within relevant commodities. Engineering responsibilities of full vehicle body systems:

• Closures
• Panels
• Active Aero
• Body NVH
• Body Heat shielding
• Lighting
• Wiper Systems
• Sealing
• Ornamentation and Trim
• NVH
• Glazing

The candidate will ensure designs meet the legal compliance, whilst identifying and highlighting any areas for continuous improvement and will aid in guiding other CAD engineers in the design standards and engineering practices.

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant experience required in exterior trim and closures of body mechanism.
• Extensive CAD experience
• Automotive experience is essential
