As the Component Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, active UK SC clearance is required.

What you will be doing:

The growing workload within the company has created this exciting opportunity for you to become the Senior Component Engineer to select, vet, and catalogue mechanical, and electromechanical components and materials used in all of the company products. Along with this, you will also be ensuring compliance with specific standards and the management of obsolescence.

You will also get the opportunity to support both local and international continuous improvement initiatives to help define best practices and manage the adoption and adherence of agreed methodologies across the teams on an international scale!

Your experience:

• Knowledge or experience in electromechanical components and materials
• Appreciation of REACH and RoHS regulations.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Pro-activeness and self-motivation to improve self, improve process, and get the job done.
