Commercial Manager (Technology) - London- 6 Month Contract - £550 p/d (Inside)

Advanced Resource Managers are supporting one of our clients with recruitment of a Commercial Manager on 6 month contract,

This role as a Commercial Manager is an integral part of the Commercial team, which will be part of a core team divided into four pillars providing support across the whole commercial lifecycle from category management, sourcing/procurement, and contract management.

Responsibilities:

* Strategic delivery and management within the Technology category.
* Leading on end-to-end strategic sourcing activities and serving as a subject matter expert.
* Working with key stakeholders to develop a clear and agreed view of business requirements.
* Supporting in the contract management of Strategic contracts within relevant category.
* Developing effective working relationships with suppliers.
* Championing of procurement best practice and working with others to create a proactive and intelligent function.

Requirements:

* Experience in the commercial delivery of successful technology, digital and data projects.
* Procurement and contract management of technology products, goods, and services.
* Excellent understanding of sourcing and procurement methodologies, as well as relevant Public Sector processes.
* Conversant with procurement policies, processes, procedures and governance mechanisms.
* Ability to lead negotiations with 3rd parties and successfully.
* CIPS qualification would be desirable.
