We are looking for a Combat Systems Engineer to take on a integral role within a leading defence company and will be working on naval combat systems. You will be responsible for ensuring Vital information from ship sensors such as radar and sonar, are captured through our core product, the Combat Management System.

Other Responsibilities you will have -
You will support the Combat System technical Lead for the integration of the Combat Systems equipment
Assist Technical Leads with the delivery and maintenance of the physical and transverse suite of information for the Combat Systems. You will also assist production of estimates and schedules
Assist with the production of design artefacts for detail design
You will ensure that design rules for Integration of the Combat Systems are adhered to
Engage with the Platform System Disciplines to ensure that platform system interfaces are understood and agreed with the customer.
You will create Combat Systems Architectures/Schematics and Cable Schedules ensuring compliance with Electromagnetic Environment Effects guidelines

Along with combat systems experience, you will also have -
Experience in design/integration of Engineering Systems
Experience in System Physical Integration during the design lifecycle in a Defence environment
Understanding in System Engineering design Lifecycle
HNC/HND in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent, or demonstration of comparable suitable experience
