Cloud And Infrastructure Practice Lead in London

PermanentThe Cloud and Infrastructure Practice Lead will work proactively to identify Cloud and Infrastructure innovations and technical improvement opportunities that contribute to our strategic aims. Develop business cases, plan, and oversee implementation.
You'll maintain leading-edge technical knowledge of industry innovations and best-practice for Cloud and Infrastructure, and share knowledge with the Managed Services division, and wider company where relevant.
Experience and knowledge
Able to demonstrate a very strong technical background and expertise Cloud and Infrastructure Technology and Applications including;
- Cloud adoption and migration
- Cloud readiness
- Cloud management and optimisation
- Cloud platforms - AWS and Microsoft
- Connectivity
- Cloud security
- Track record of thought leadership in the Cloud and Infrastructure arena
- Proven Knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies in Cloud and Infrastructure.
- Significant people management experience including successfully building, motivating, and managing sizeable technical teams. Experience in a client facing environment is advantageous.
- Significant experience of successfully delivering multiple large and complex services and projects simultaneously, in a client facing environment.
- Previous managed services experience is advantageous.
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and risk, whilst looking for opportunities to innovate and streamline.
- Proven track record of developing strong working relationships with both external technical and customer communities.
- Track record of good commercial acumen: specifically, the ability to apply technical knowledge to increase efficiency/sales/new markets/reduce risk etc.
- Commitment to using data and insights to monitor progress and make informed decisions.
- Experience of contributing to the planning and delivery of new propositions and business strategy.
