We are looking for a CAD Designer to join the Product Engineering team. You will work alongside specialists, sharing your knowledge of engineering practices and working on techniques, processes, and tools for large-scale detailed design of platforms, assemblies, systems, and equipment installation.
Day to Day you'll be -
·Using the CAD tool to produce 3D models of Hull & Outfit systems and equipment integration
·Producing 2D drawing outputs to a demanding schedule to support the manufacturing and production teams in product build and delivery
·Developing and maintaining working relationships with interfacing teams and team members
·Working with the client to produce an integrated design that meets their expectations and agreed set of requirements
The ideal candidate will have -
·Previous experience within a design role with a background in a high-hazard industry such as Civil, Structures, Marine, Oil and gas Environment/Background
·Understanding of CAD modelling techniques
·HNC Level Qualification in STEM subject or Design
