CAD Designer in Kingston upon Thames, London

• Role: CAD Designer (Inventor Specialist)
• Role type: Outside IR35 Contract OR Permanent (flexibility)
• Location: South West London
• Duration: 12-month contract OR Permanent
• Other: Hybrid working (3 days a week in office, 2 at home), 37.5 hours per week

Our client, who are an advanced Technological and Engineering Contractor, specialising in the Offshore Energy market, is currently seeking four talented CAD Designers to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Floating Wind project.

As a successful candidate, you will ideally be a degree-qualified CAD draftsman with extensive experience designing offshore structures. You will be responsible for performing 2D drafting tasks and 3D modeling of these structures, ensuring quality requirements related to design, verification, and testing.

Minimum requirements:

• Experience as a CAD Designer in a similar environment, minimum is Offshore Structures.
• You must have strong software/program skills with Inventor (preferred) but also Vault, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• You should also have a thorough knowledge of industry catalogues for steel profiles, such as pipe elements.
• Must be proficient in English
• Existing right to work and live in the UK
