You will be working as the Bid Officer with a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

What you will be involved in:

You will be joining a forward-looking and dynamic business development team who are responsible for providing leadership in shaping the future of business. You will be focusing on coordinating and managing research, concepts, and technology bids into various externally funded frameworks that the company participates in. You will be responsible for driving pursue/ no pursue decisions, forming, and leading bid teams to win new and interesting work.

You will get the chance to assist other Win Team Leads in the Concepts and Technology and wider UK teams as appropriate. A key part of your role will be interfacing with internal colleagues, MOD, and the nominated framework providers with whom you will be expected to develop and maintain effective and enduring relationships.

Your skillset may include:

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent
• Organisational skills with an ability to plan ahead
• Bid or project management experience
• An appetite to provide constructive inputs to enable continued improvements to bids, frameworks, etc...
• Experience working in teams
• An interest in and a level of understanding of technologies
