PermanentWe are looking for a B1 OR B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to Join one of our key clients based in Cornwall. The clients are an established avionics company that has been around for over 40 years and hold a high reputation of providing services in avionics and specialist on chartered rotary engineering.
The successful candidates must have one of the following EASA Part 66 License type ratings.
AW109 Series
AW139 Series
Airbus H125
AW169 series
The main responsibilities
The B2 OR B1 Licenced Engineer is responsible for the completion and certification of Avionics & Electrical systems related tasks, as defined in the MOE, on the Company's aircraft, either directly or through non-certifying engineers; they ensure the work is completed in accordance with approved data and Company policies and procedures, and other duties include:
* Deliver and convey frequent engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department
* Perform line and base maintenance at any Castle Air facility, as well as off-site on client demand.
* Perform all aircraft maintenance activities; * Ensure the highest quality and standards of work are achieved in regard to aircraft, components, and paperwork.
* Ensure that facilities, equipment, and premises are kept in good condition.
* Ensuring that operational crew members are debriefed in order for problems to be precisely described and recorded.
