Automotive Seat Functions Engineer in Crewe, Cheshire

AUTOMOTIVE SEAT FUNCTIONS ENGINEER - CHESHIRE - 8 MONTHS - £34.85 PER HOUR

ARM's Auto team are working with a leading OEM Automotive client who produce prestige vehicles that are sold across the globe. We are currently recruiting for a Seat Functions Engineer to join the team in Cheshire on a contract basis which is currently running to the end of August 2025.

About You:
* You will have significant experience of working within an engineering position defining mechanical and electrical functions within an OEM within automotive.
* You will have knowledge of system development and software-based logic.
* You will be a degree educated engineer within electronics or software or mechatronics.
* You will have knowledge of vehicle communication networks also.
* Ideally you will have knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety standards.

What you will be doing:
The position has come around from expansion within the team. Your role will have technical responsibility for Vehicle Function processes within seating and defining seating functions from a first logical customer basis.

This position is based in Cheshire and is commutable from Nantwich, Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent and Sandbach. Working hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days from home. The contract is working 35 hours per week and is currently expected to run to at least 29th August 2025.

What you can expect in return:
This position is paying £34.85 per hour and has been deemed Inside IR35.
