As the Assembly Technician, you will be working alongside a market-leading defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to obtain UK SC clearance in this role.
Your skillset may include some of the following:
- Electrical and mechanical assembly and integration of complex systems working from drawings and engineering instruction.
- Competent and safe use of all hand and air tools. Use of Jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools on precision assemblies.
- Ability to complete set-ups and perform quality and performance testing.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment with high accuracy.
- Ability to liaise with the test support, engineering, and Quality functions.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of "clean as you go"/6S/FOD/Tool control programs.
- Experienced with quality inspection points and process documentation.
