Joinery Designer in Northamptonshire

A leading boat builder is recruiting a Naval Architect to join their office in Northampton to produce detailed production and assembly drawings that optimise the capabilities the companies production facility.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Working with a team of designers/naval architects to help optimize the overall design for building efficiency.
- Producing joinery drawings to the required production level (assemblies to component parts).
- Occasional travel will be required to manufacturing and design sites.
- Writing reports and documentation.
The successful candidate will;
- Have prior joinery/cabinet experience.
- The ability to work with 3D CAD software.
- PLM experience is desirable.
- Yachting experience is seen as advantageous.
