Key Duties:
1. Engage in active trading of marine fuels, including bunkers, to optimize profitability and mitigate risk.
2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to facilitate efficient trading operations.
3. Monitor market trends, analyze supply and demand dynamics, and assess geopolitical factors to inform strategic trading decisions.
4. Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and contracts with customers and suppliers to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to streamline processes and resolve trading-related issues.
6. Stay abreast of regulatory developments and compliance requirements governing the maritime fuel industry to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
7. Provide timely and accurate reporting on trading activities, market developments, and performance metrics to senior management and key stakeholders.
8. Continuously seek opportunities for business development and expansion, identifying new markets, products, and partnerships to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in bunker trading or a related field.
2. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a relevant discipline preferred.
3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market data and trends.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
5. Proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results in a dynamic trading environment.
6. Sound judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
7. Proficiency in relevant software and trading platforms.
8. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
