Project Engineer in Chester, Cheshire

ContractWe are searching for someone with proven project management abilities. The position holder is in charge of defining, creating, and completing initiatives that will help the Manufacturing Engineering team.
There will be opportunity to oversee a variety of initiatives, including those involving continuous improvement, the environment, health and safety, and provide technical assistance to the factory operations departments.
You must be able to show the following in order to be selected as the successful applicant:
- Managing the whole project scope from beginning to end
- Handling numerous activities in a constantly changing environment
- Working with outside partners
- Learning about various production technologies
- Exercise influence on important players outside your area of control
- Effective business area coordination to guarantee projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Support product development by cooperating with vendors.
- Manage key stakeholders with Multi-Functional Teams and track project milestones with transparent KPIs.
Technical Skills & Competencies :
- A degree in engineering or a closely related field, or
- Lower academic credentials and five years of experience working in a manufacturing engineering environment, or a higher apprenticeship in engineering or a comparable background.
- Expertise in engineering techniques and manufacturing processes for aerospace.
- Track record of success in project management
- Techniques for fixing problems.
- Excellent negotiating skills (commercial and technical).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Google Office IT tools: Slides, Sheets, GMail
