My client are looking for a Senior Engineer to help shape & deliver an IT service management construct within a Royal Navy Warship. You must have the ability to shape & define how IT service management is done in Combat Systems for this new project.

You'll also be responsible for -
Leading the Service Transition activities at ship; engaging all stakeholders to ensure they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Defining and developing the Release Deployment and Transition processes, through consulting and engaging relevant stakeholders.

Key Skills my client are looking for -
Have an in depth knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based Service Management (SM); preferably at ITIL Expert level.
Have extensive service transition experience in a fast paced, operationally intensive, networked environment operating under an ITIL based regime
Also Ideally has worked in Military or Government IT as well as having Commercial experience.
Although this is not a technical or hands on role, they should have an understanding of the technology in use in the Combat System from a management perspective
Have knowledge of ITIL based Service Management (SM) toolsets, ideally including BMC Remedy and JIRA.
