Visual Designer in Surrey

PermanentAre you an experienced Visual Designer seeking a new permanent role? We are supporting a permanent position that is Based in Shalford. As a Visual Designer you will be part of the groups creative team and be apart of a world-leading automotive design company.
Responsibilities:
* Help in running personal customer specification sessions using bespoke UE4 configurator.
* Competent understanding of blueprints/variant sets, and thorough understanding of game play logic.
* Assemble latest CAD concept proposals from the Exterior and Interior Design teams.
* Combine these data sets to create a single visualisation file in UE4.
* Produce realistic lighting and detailed materials for internal reviews.
* Create realistic environments in UE4 to present the car.
* Continue to keep all running projects up to date with latest surfacing and engineering data.
* Work under tight guidelines to present latest proposals for review, both internally and externally.
* Source required envelopes from engineering and setup accurate animations of moving parts (seats/wheels/external closures).
Experience and Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbally and visually
* Degree level qualification in 3D Games Art or equivalent
* Sufficient level of experience working in Unreal Engine 4. Ideal candidate would be familiar in every aspect of the content creation pipeline
* Experience in offline renderers e.g Corona, Vray, Arnold
* Thorough understanding of photo-realistic lighting and rendering
* Knowledge and experience of VR with interaction and navigation controls in Unreal Engine 4
* Proficiency with 3D software packages such as 3DS Max, Maya, etc.
* Experience with data conversion workflow- starting from CAD data (Catia/Alias) through to workable mesh files in UE4.
* Require working knowledge of UV mapping, modelling, and texturing
* Excellent Graphics skills with a real attention to detail combined with well-developed conceptual thinking
* Software Tools - Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office
