Senior Project Manager in Kingston upon Thames, London

PermanentOur client, a leading Defence company at the forefront of technology are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager. This is a new role due the business production increasing and new bids being won.
This role is a hybrid role with 2/3 days on site - project dependant. Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 neg.
Due to the nature of the role you will be subject to security checks and will need to have BPSS/SC/DV in place or be eligible.
About Your Opportunity:
In this role you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team to design, develop and qualify the next generation of submarine hardware. This is high profile role on a high profile programme, so great opportunity to develop your career!
Your Responsibilities:
- Delivery of complex hardware design and qualification projects to the agreed baseline
- Develop and maintain positive engagement with customers, partners and suppliers
- Resolve conflicts (including prioritisation calls) with the project
- Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand)
- Regular reporting of progress against baseline
Your Experience:
- Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects the entire design lifecycle
- Extensive internal and external stakeholder management experience
- Hold a recognised PM Qualification (APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ) "PRINCE2" "APM" "PMI" "PMP"
- Experience in the Defence, Maritime or closely related sectors
- Technical degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
