3-month initial contract / Reading based
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter PLM Technical Consultant to support the design, development, customisation and integration of Siemens Teamcenter solutions within a complex engineering environment.
The role will involve working closely with engineering, manufacturing, IT and business stakeholders to deliver robust PLM solutions, resolve complex technical challenges and support the ongoing development of enterprise engineering systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop Teamcenter customisations using Teamcenter ITK.
- Develop custom handlers, user exits, workflow extensions and server-side solutions.
- Develop integrations between Teamcenter and wider enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain software using C#, .NET, C++, and SQL.
- Support Teamcenter upgrades, migrations and data transformation activities.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues and provide 3rd-line support.
- Produce technical designs and documentation.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements.
- Support and mentor junior developers.
Essential experience:
- Strong commercial experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
- Hands-on Teamcenter ITK development experience.
- Experience developing custom handlers, user exits and workflow customisations.
- Strong C# and .NET development experience.
- Commercial C++ development experience.
- Strong SQL/database experience.
- Enterprise application and systems integration experience.
- Experience with data migration and transformation.
- Agile development experience.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Git or Bitbucket.
- Strong understanding of PLM principles.
- Experience working within regulated or high-assurance engineering environments.
