We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join a high-profile engineering programme, helping to build, operate, and continuously improve a secure cloud-native DevSecOps platform.
You'll play a key role in delivering secure, automated software delivery pipelines, managing Kubernetes environments, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Working closely with architecture, software engineering, cloud, and cybersecurity teams, you'll help drive automation, platform reliability, and secure application delivery across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain DevSecOps solutions aligned with approved architectures and engineering standards.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, testing, security validation, and deployment.
- Deploy, manage, and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads across multiple environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation technologies.
- Configure deployment automation, release management, and GitOps workflows.
- Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, including code analysis, container scanning, dependency scanning, and compliance validation.
- Support monitoring, logging, observability, and overall platform health.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and continually improve pipeline performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with software engineering, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.
- Support platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
- Proven experience implementing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms (including OpenShift and/or Kubernetes).
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Linux administration experience with scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Docker and container-based application deployment.
- Good understanding of Git version control and GitOps methodologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native security best practices and container security.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
