Scaffolding Safety Officer

Overview:
We are recruiting for a Scaffolding Safety Officer on behalf of a leading maritime and industrial services provider. This role focuses on promoting safety culture, delivering technical training, and ensuring compliance across scaffolding operations, particularly supporting the Shipwright section.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce scaffolding safety guidelines and procedures

• Deliver training in scaffolding, lifting, and manual handling

• Provide technical support and act as liaison with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies

• Drive safety awareness and continuous improvement initiatives

• Support risk assessments, audits, and HSE compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

• CISRS Advanced Card holder with 10+ years' experience

• NEBOSH IGC preferred

• Experience in scaffolding within shipyard, offshore, or industrial environments

• Strong leadership, training, and communication skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
