We are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in Aviation to join the existing team based in Hampshire. You will support the contract that ensures the supervision of serviceable engines and accessories to the RAF Chinook platform at both RAF Odiham and RAF Benson.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities -
Completion of maintenance tasks as required by the Contract
Testing engines
Oversee and supervise other people within the team of 9 people
Ensuring all personnel under their control wear protective clothing and observe COSHH regulations
Attending courses for further training on specific techniques relevant and necessary to their job as detailed by their Section Supervisor
Acting as permanent loan holder by current regulations if required
First Aider/appointed person
Out-of-hours support when needed
Experience Required -
Engine maintenance within an operational environment
Ability to work competently in a changeable environment
Engine experience
Desirable Experience we are also looking for -
Forklift Operation (desirable, training will be provided)
Gold ESP S3 (desirable, training will be provided)
