Powertrain Certification Engineer in Crewe, Cheshire

Role description:

To undertake Type Approval/Certification for Bentley vehicles with regards to powertrain certification; working manly with the documentation focused on Auxiliary Emissions Strategies and Base Emissions Strategies (AES and BES) and AECD (Auxiliary Emissions Control Devices) but will also support other powertrain certification duties. Planning, testing, compiling relevant technical information and facilitating compliance for future and current projects.

Main tasks:

* To facilitate AES BES & AECD approvals in a timely manner.
* To assist with the planning and daily delivery of each of the Bentley powertrain certification projects to ensure they are understood, communicated, and tracked as necessary with regards to AES/BES, etc.
* Participation of VW Group meetings, German language advantagous
* Use of and maintenance of all the already existing project's generics that determine the timing of the AES BES tasks.
* Paper-based - desk position
