Wireman / Wireperson in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Our client is looking for a Wireman / Wireperson to join their team in Portsmouth area on a temp to perm basis.

Ideally, you would have:
* Similliar experience in an Electro/Mechanical Assembly role.
* Ability to read, understand and interpret electrical engineering drawings
* Ability to prepare, crimp, terminate and loom complex wiring assemblies.
* Ability to identify and communicate drawing discrepancies to supervision.
* Ability to recognise bad practice and communicate this to supervision.
* Demonstrable ability to meet demanding deadlines.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Accurately record time bookings per task on the company recording system.
* Electrical testing, fault finding and resolution.
* Cable Looming
* Wiring Looming
* Prototype Production
* Screened Cable Assembly work
* Mil Spec Connector assembly
* Operate in a manner that ensures the health and safety of both themselves and their colleagues.

This is a Monday to Friday role. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 4:00PM & 7:30AM - 1:00PM finish Fridays, 37.5 hours per week.
For this role, my client would be willing to pay between £13 and £16 per hour depending on skills and experience.
