Salary: £75,000 - £90,000
Overview
Our client is seeking a Windows Automation DevOps Consultant to assist with the design, development, and support of infrastructure automation solutions.

Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and support infrastructure automation solutions.
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and methodologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation tools.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Hashicorp Packer, Ansible Tower, and other relevant technologies.
* Manage and optimize Windows Server environments (2019, 2022).
* Utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation.
* Administer and optimize SQL Server databases.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and automation issues.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and automation.

Qualifications:
* Several years of experience in Infrastructure DevOps and automation within the financial services industry.
* Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and methodologies.
* Proficiency in Hashicorp Packer, Windows Server 2019 and 2022, Ansible Tower, SQL Server, and GitHub Actions.
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and management.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related technologies.
* Experience with other automation tools and technologies.
* Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
