Van Driver in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Role: Van Driver - 3.5T

Overview:

You will be working as part of a team of designated Van Drivers to collect goods and transport to customers ensuring timely delivery and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Role:

• Deliver parcels with company products/goods to customers
• Support the Build Team with activities such as unpacking, setting up devices and preparing customer orders for delivery
• Review delivery with recipient/customer to ensure the order is accurate
• Obtain delivery confirmation
• Carry out vehicle safety inspection to ensure vehicle is safe to drive
• Plan delivery routes
• Occasionally unpack orders at the customer location and return used devices and packaging back to the warehouse
• Assist with housekeeping and other duties such as receiving products from suppliers and handling any associated paperwork in the warehouse

• Ensure compliance with company data protection and information security policies.

About you:

• Full UK driving license
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• Good timekeeping skills
• Have a flexible attitude to working hours
• Friendly and professional demeanour
• Health and Safety awareness
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Minimum of three years driving experience
• Warehouse knowledge
• NPPV2/CTC clearance required (Willing to go through clearance)
