My client in the utilities industry are looking for a UNIX Specialist to join their fast paced team for an initial 6 month contract.

On the job details:
* Strong Unix experience (preferably not as an administrator)
* Good knowledge of Unix Shell scripting (able to write, interpret existing scripts, and troubleshoot)
* Strong knowledge of basic Unix commands (file manipulation, transfer, SFTP)
* Knowledge of Oracle database applications useful but not essential
* Previous application support experience, legacy Oracle systems
* Enthusiastic, problem solver, fast learner
