Track Project Engineer in Wimbledon, London

TECHNICAL TRACK OFFICER - SOUTHWEST LONDON - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT - £430 PER DAY

We are working with a well- known railway client who is currently recruiting for Track Engineer on 6-month contract basis based in Southwest London.

About You:
* You must HOLD or working towards NVQ level 2 /3 or equivalent qualification in engineering.
* You will need to have knowledge of Track Gauge OR Amber Trolley.
* You will be required to have knowledge and experience of track renewal/ maintenance including the construction management process, systems, and standards.
* You MUST be able to work Night shifts and weekend shifts.
* You MUST hold a valid driver's license.

What you will be doing:
* You will be ensuring the compliance to the engineering requirements of GRIP or PACE.
* You will be on site doing tamping of track, stressing, hand back and supervising subcontractors.
* You will be carrying out work safely and in accordance with the Safe Systems of Work Procedures (SSOWP), method statements and plans.
* You will be managing information to update systems, databases and records.

This role is located in Southwest London and will be office/site based.

This role is a 6 Month contract, which may extend.

The rate for this position is £430 Per Day (Umbrella) Inside IR35.

We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this role. Also, as part of the compliance process, a DBS will be required prior to start.
