Are you an experienced Timing Leader seeking a new permanent role? We are supporting a permanent position that is Based in Gaydon.

Responsibilities
* Develop overall vehicle programme plans, detail and overview that support company, corporate, customer & certification requirements
* Work in close cooperation with Programme Manager, providing programme timing information to support programme decision making, forecast and highlight issues to programme team & facilitate resolution through cross-functional meetings
* Provide timing support & advice to each area within company
* Continuous improvement and development of the timing function from lessons learned, benchmarking of other best practice
* Be the owner for the programme critical path timing by integrating key timing information from the Product Development stakeholders - use this information to ensure the Programme team are driving the delivery appropriately and flagging up-coming and realised timing risks
* Weekly Chair for T-PATs for your carline programmes - a forum to gain alignment on status and validate assumptions
* Benchmark and recommend a common timing tool to best suit the needs of the businesses Product Creation Team
* Continuous improvement and development of the timing function within the business from lessons learned, benchmarking of other best practice

Requirements
* Degree in Engineering or similar
* Automotive Engineering experience essential, either OEM or supplier
* Broad engineering knowledge including product development, prototype build, manufacturing/production, service
* Experience of complex timing analysis - using multiple methodologies / systems
* Good understanding of supply/purchasing, finance and marketing
* Demonstrated ownership of large Vehicle Programme timing from KO to Launch
* Strong communication skills at all levels
