Technical Spares Estimator - Newcastle upon Tyne- Permanent - £35,000

ARM is currently recruiting for a Technical Spares Estimator to join a prestigious client based in Newcastle upon Tyne on a permanent basis.

As a Technical Spares Estimator you will join a busy service team. Responsible for identification of all parts required for overhaul and service activities, competitively sourcing spare parts for the service team, monitoring lead times and ensuring parts are received on time.

Responsibilities:

* Identify parts required as per defined work scope
* Utilise Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) online portals for parts identification and ordering
* Producing quotations for customers.
* Source and purchase spare parts from approved suppliers.
* Monitor lead times and ensure parts are received as required.
* Actively seek new and competitive suppliers.
* Control service exchange returns process.
* Obsolescence management.

Requirements

* Technical experience of diesel engines and spare parts
* Excellent communication skills
