ARM are delighted to be supporting a luxury Automotive business with the Recruitment of a Technical Buyer on a 12 month contract.

The Technical buyer will be responsible for souring high complex technical components and taking accountability for supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:

* Using your strong commercial instinct and knowledge of where best to invest procurement resource.
* Developing robust procurement processes and aligning them to strategy
* Supply chain management and development.
* Stakeholder engagement to effectively manage both external supplier and internal customer relationships.
* Negotiation, dispute resolution and conflict management.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a technical buyer
* 2:1 class at degree level in Engineering/ Economics/ Business Studies or equivalent Vocational Qualifications would be desirable, although not essential
* Experience purchasing engineered products and services in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with SAP
* Knowledge of contract law would be desirable.
* Must have a UK driving licence.
