Team Leader (Track Maintenance) in Newport

TEAM LEADER (TRACK MAINTENANCE) - SOUTH-WALES - PERMANENT - £40,000 PER ANUM

ARM are working with a railway organisation who are responsible for developing, maintaining and running the majority of the railway networks in the UK. They are seeking a Track Maintenance Team Leader to join the team based in South-Wales.

- You will have significant experience of working as a Track / Permanent Way maintenance worker.

- You will be ready for and looking for a Team Leader position.

- You will hold valid PTS and other track tickets such as COSS, etc.

- You will hold a full UK driving licence also.

Your role will be to lead a small team providing maintenance and renewals on the railway in the South West. You will ensure safe working for your team and providing day to day support and guidance. Reporting to a manager who will oversee general team management duties, reviews, etc. This position would suit someone looking to progress or looking to rejoin as a Team Leader.

This position will be based from Newport and will then see you travel to the site of work, using company vehicles. It is a full-time position and will see you working shifts including days, nights and weekends. There is also some on call commitment on this position.

The salary for this position is £40,638 as a starting salary, but with overtime, shift allowances and on call payments, this will be much more than this base. On top of this is a range of benefits including generous pension scheme, annual leave and much more
