Supply Chain Specialist - Romsey - Contract - £Competitive

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist on an initial 6 month contract.

The Supply Chain Specialist will work across the business unit on sourcing, purchasing and governance tasks.

Requirement

* Managing various stakeholders with diverse requirements (up to and including board level).
* Opportunities to work on IT projects
* Sourcing suppliers, including undertaking appropriate on-boarding and BACM (Anti-Bribery and Corruption) checks.
* Executing Non-disclosure agreements.
* Issuing Invitation to Tenders (ITT) and Request for Quotations (RFQ);
* Undertaking supplier negotiations.
* Undertaking supplier review meetings, including managing supplier risk and mitigations.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

* Experience of working with IT category (BPO))
* Experience of working with Indirect categories (e.g. FM or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO))
* Able to manage the varied demands of a complex and high-profile framework, often working to short timescales.
* Demonstrable track record of developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
* Methodical and analytical mind-set and able to apply procurement theory in a flexible, efficient, and effective manner.
* Tenacious and patient when managing change through an organisation.
* Able to develop tools and tactics at an operational level that will contribute to strategic goals.
* Experienced in supplier management and development activities driving supplier performance.
* Strong business acumen and experienced in commercial and contract negotiations.

* Must hold SC Clearance.
* Candidate to hold CIPS Accreditation
