Subcontract Manager - Harwell - Permanent - Competitive £££

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Subcontract Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

The Subcontract Manager will have the responsibility for third-party deliverables for capture opportunities and programmes focusing on the commercial, cost, technical, schedule, and quality requirements

Responsibilities:

* Collaborating with the cross-functional Supplier Management Team for both internal and supplier interactions
* Taking customer and internal requirements and developing supplier work packages
* Knowledge of Contract Management
* Identification of prospective suppliers and leading early engagement activity including capability assessment
* Working with suppliers to obtain proposals and negotiating key contract elements including pricing, schedule, compliance with requirements, terms, and conditions
* Identifying, establishing, and ensuring performance to contract deliverables is achieved

Requirements:

* Strong procurement/commercial, business acumen, financial control and analytical skills
* Highly experienced in contract management
* UK Citizenship; Current SC clearance or ability to achieve
* A professional qualification is highly desirable - CIPS
* Capable of operating to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment
